Lahore Grammar School was established in January 1979 in Lahore by a group of women with a commitment to excellence in education and with the aim of providing a creative alternative to the existing educational facilities available in the country.
In April 1997, Lahore Grammar School started another network called the Landmark Project to cater to the need of the middle income group. The Landmark project has many branches in Lahore and will be opening branches in other cities as well.
The emphasis at the Landmark Project Schools is on child- centered learning, where the child is encouraged towards independent discovery and his/her natural curiosity is channelized towards the surrounding environment. We also offer a range of co-curricular activities, as our philosophy entails the holistic development of a child’s personality and individuality, hence, activities like singing, computers, art, sports, video viewing and educational field trips, are very much part of our curriculum.
It is our goal to encourage creativity and independence of thought, and this is achieved through the importance we give to both academics and co-curricular activities. It is our hope that young adults graduating from Lahore Grammar School, Landmark Project, be able to compete for a place in the top ranking institutions of higher education within the country and abroad.
